Ski Arlberg is Austria's largest connected ski area — linked without a break, via the Auenfeldjet and Flexenbahn, from Warth-Schröcken through Lech-Zürs, Stuben and St. Christoph to St. Anton.

Warth-Schröcken opens for the winter season on 4 December 2026. Lech, Zürs and St. Anton open even earlier, on 2 December — and a single ski pass covers them all.
The season is in full swing. Warth-Schröcken runs until 11 April 2027 — and we have the equipment for it, 150 metres from the lift.
The 2026/27 winter season has ended. Ski Arlberg announces the dates for the coming winter in autumn.

No ski bus needed
How it all
connects
Auenfeldjet and Flexenbahn are the two lifts that turn five separate ski areas into one single, connected one. The Auenfeldjet takes you from Warth over towards Lech-Zürs, and from there the Flexenbahn continues on towards Stuben, St. Christoph and St. Anton — all with the same ski pass, without switching to a ski bus.
If you only want to get to know the quieter part of the area, you don't have to use any of that: Warth-Schröcken alone already has 15 lifts and 62 kilometres of pistes — enough for an entire ski holiday. The rest of the area is simply there for the days when you feel like more variety.

Anyone who prefers it quieter finds real winter experiences in Warth-Schröcken, away from the bustle of the bigger neighboring resorts — before continuing on into the rest of the area.
For freeriders, it's above all the variety of terrain that counts — from open slopes to steeper couloirs that only reveal themselves once you're off the beaten piste. Off-piste, checking the current avalanche report and having the right safety gear along are always part of the deal.

At the start of the 2017/18 winter season, Skigebiete-Test.de named the ten best ski areas in the world out of more than 250. The international test team gave the title to Ski Arlberg — the region from Warth-Schröcken via Lech-Zürs to St. Anton scored top marks in every test category.
And that is not a one-off snapshot from 2017: Ski Arlberg still ranks among the international elite today — currently rated a 5-star ski resort and a top freeride destination. For you as a guest, that means in practice: proven slope quality, reliable snow conditions and a lift system that keeps up even when it is busy — assessed by an independent international test team, not just claimed by us.

Warth-Schröcken is linked to three tariff networks — depending on how far you want to travel, a different pass fits. Sales and prices are handled directly by the respective providers; we're not a point of sale for lift passes.

Evenings
are for tobogganing
The ski day ends at 4 pm — the winter evening does not. Warth-Schröcken has three toboggan runs, one of them floodlit until 10 pm every day and free of charge. The toboggan you get from us.
Tobogganing at the Dorfbahn
Up with the 8-person gondola, the run leads straight back into the village. Operating from 09:00 to 16:15; with a valid ski pass the ride up is free for tobogganers. Floodlit once a week in the evening — then only evening tickets are valid.
Schröcken toboggan run
Two kilometres from the Nesslegg hamlet along the old road down to Heimboden, floodlit every Wednesday. A free toboggan bus takes you back to the start. Helmets are compulsory.
You can rent a toboggan directly from us at the Sport 2000 Center — 150 metres from the Dorfbahn. The exact dates of the weekly toboggan evenings are announced by the tourist board in its events calendar.

Getting to
Warth-Schröcken
Warth and Schröcken lie in Vorarlberg, close to the border with Tyrol. In winter, two roads lead in — via the Bregenzerwald or through the Lechtal.
Don't mix up the postcode
For your navigation system: Warth 6767, Schröcken 6888. There is also a "Warth" in Lower Austria, about 600 km away — enter the wrong postcode and the route takes you there.
Lech closed in winter
The L198 between Lech and Warth is usually closed in winter due to avalanche danger. In that case, arrival is only possible via the Bregenzerwald (L200) or the Lechtal (L198 from Reutte/Elbigenalp).
Toll sticker & winter tyres
Austria's motorways require a toll sticker (Vignette) — the A14 between Hörbranz and Hohenems stays toll-free. Winter tyres are required from 1 November to 15 April; snow chains are also available at the Sparmarkt in Schröcken.
